Meeting Date: 2nd Monday of the month

Start Time & Meeting Duration: 9:30 am - 12:30 pm

Meeting Place: Little Rock Central Library, Darragh Center, 100 Rock Street (River Market District). Pay parking is available just across from library.

How to get there: From the West: I-40 E to I-30 S, exit on Cantrell, turn right on Cumberland, one block and turn right on Markham-Clinton Way. One block to 4-way stop, turn right and you are at the library. From the South: I-30 to Cantrell exit, continue as above. A detailed map is on our Web site.

Meeting Format: We begin with a short business meeting, announcements and door prizes. Several times a year we have opportunity baskets for fundraising. Attendance is announced and visitors recognized. Show & Tell just before a short break, after which the day's program is presented.

General Guild Activities: For 2004 we have local/national guest speakers for six of our programs. Some of these will have workshops. Other programs are talent within our own group. We have various interest groups, such as Minature Quilt, Fabric Dyeing and several Friendship Groups that will present the program and it will be a great learning experience.

Quilt Exhibition: Yes, we host exhibitions. Check our website for upcoming events.

Workshops: We hold several a year. Remaining workshops in 2004 are: September 13, Robbi Joy Eklow, workshop on "Choose to Fuse". November 8, Sue Nickels on "Feathers and Cables" machine quilting. All held at the L.R. Central Library, Darragh Center.

Retreat: We have in the past and may do so again.

Community Projects: Community Outreach, opportunities to make quilts for Ronald McDonald House; Dorcas House, a women's and children's shelter and other such local places. Quilt Challenges several times a year. Road Trips. December Quilt Auction for Fundraising. We donate 10% of our net income to individually selected museums etc.
